Hiya john its Aaron just want to say a mega big thankyou for everything on completing my full direct access.
your staff at pillings need alot more credit for the work they do.Really want to say a big big thankyou to paul for persevering with me having the confidence in me and also sticking with me on those roundabouts. He is one one of a kind to say the least been a pleasure riding with paul and for getting me threw mod1 and mod2 training.so a big thanks to john, wife. And paul what a great experiance I had

“My instructor, Paul, was really great. He was honest about my readiness for the test but always gave me the final option. On the road he showed me so much. He’d remember every little occurrence each time we stopped for feedback and was great to get on with. By the time I had passed there wasn’t really anything more he could teach me – it was about me learning from my experience by then, and he was honest about this. Overall, I’ve improved so much, in fact, I really wasn’t safe enough to be driving a 125 beforehand, if I’m honest. I would recommend Pillings to anyone and will probably do advanced riding at some point, too.”

I hope all’s well,
best wishes

Hi, having spent a very tiring but fun and informative Sunday undergoing CBT training with Pillings Motorcycle Training, I would like to thank you all for the wonderful service you provide. I found Paul to very very knowledgeable and patient as we two trainees could not have been more different, however this allowed me to see first hand the dedication to the training regime Paul applied to building Josie’s confidence on the bike before letting us out on the road. Once out on the road the instruction was clear and precise and any comments from Paul were constructive and aimed at improving our skills and confidence. Well done to all. I am going on hols at the end of July for a week or three but will definitely book for the direct access course once I get back. (I can be swotting on my hols in readiness). Once again many thanks for a great days training. Steve Peel.

WOW, I can’t believe that I have just accomplished that. I passed both Mod 1 & 2 first time with no faults on either test. Thank you so much guys for your help over the last four days to get me through. You always said that it was going to be my ability that got me through but without out your guidance I don’t think I would have done as well. If anyone is looking for a first class training school then these guys are it!

Thanks once again John and team,

Dan Palmer

Refreshing Change

Hi John,

Please use the below testimonial where you see fit.

“After having a negative experience with another bike training school, I decided to make the change to Pillings Motorcycle Training and I must say the experience was enjoyable. The level of knowledge, experience and patience shown by my instructor Paul was refreshing. I was assessed, guided and supported throughout. They got me through my Mod 2 in 3 days and I can’t thank them enough. I wish John, Paul and all the rest of their team all the very best for the future”

The tuition you gave me was brilliant.

I have recently completed both the week long CBT1 instructor course and also the DAS Instructors course with John from Pillings motorcycle training.I have ridden bikes for 20+ years and due to redundancy looked into turning my hobby into a living. The course was well structured around the skills required to help me to become a top class instructor. I have since been down to Cardington to sit my instructors exams and passed them both first time around. I am now a freelance bike instructor and thanks to the patience and guidance given by John during the course, I was shown how to use the core competences, as well as how to communicate importantly at the level of the clients.

I cannot recommend the course and tuition highly enough and if you are looking to become a motorcycle instructor then you could do no worse than speak to John Pilling at Pillings motorcycle training.

Hi John

I Just wanted to say how elated I was to pass my test due to your professionalism in teaching me so well.
You talked me through all i needed to know to get where I wanted to be.
Your team are fantastic as well as yourself of course. We all had a fantastic experience, going out in the wind, rain and very cold conditions but the perseverance paid off and I cannot thank you enough.

I would recommend John Pillings motorcycle training to everyone who wants a dedicated, fantastic, lovely, calm, patient and enthusiastic instructor.
Thank you so much to John, John and Dave. Hope we all stay in touch and go for a coffee and cake of course.
I am looking forward to you teaching me the next stage being the advanced course as soon as I get a bit of practice in?????????
All the best to a great team.

Carolyn from Colne

ps I really miss my lessons and you guys.

Having decided to return to biking after an 8 year lay off I figured the best way was to get a couple of hours training with a qualified instructor. I contacted John at PILLINGS Motorcycle Training and enquired about the refresher course. John tailored the training to me, meeting me at the pre arranged date and time at the dealers and we went through the bike, looking at the differences between my previous bike and the new one and then we went out for 2 hours on the road. What a difference to my confidence being told that I hadn’t forgotten too much but also being given some helpful hints and tips re my riding and the bike. Thanks John, a great course and it’s made me feel like I might want to train with you again in the future.
